Winter Music Performance

This week Kindergarten had their winter musical. We couldn't be more proud of their hard work! They sung beautifully and were such great listeners when the other grades were singing their songs! They also couldn't of looked cuter. Great job Kindergarten :).

Where in the world is the gingerbread man?

This week we started our Gingerbread man
unit!  We will be reading a lot of  fun stories such as the Gingerbread Man, Gingerbread Girl, The Gingerbread Cowboy, Gingerbread Friends, and Gingerbread Baby!  The gingerbread man ran away and we are chasing him around the world.  We first found him in India where we learned about the celebration of Diwali.  Then he was spotted in Sweden, where he was celebrating St. Lucia Day!  Where will he be next?  Next week we will find out.

Cute Cats on our Cubbies

When you come to visit for conferences make sure you stop at your child's cubbie to see their adorable cat they made in honor of the letter "c" this week! We read the story Green Eyes, so we needed to add jeweled green eyes to our cats. How fun!

Worms!

This week we learned about worms! We completed a worms "are", "can", and "have" chart. We also did worm addition, measuring, and explored our worms with our hands! It was too much fun! Next week we will be writing a diary entry after reading "Diary Of a Worm" and also making worm habitats! Stay tuned..
