P
is for Pumpkin! Wow what fun we had investigating our pumpkins and
learning a lot about math and science. At our first station we
estimated what the circumference of our pumpkin was by deciding how much
string it would take to go around our pumpkin. Then we measured to see
if we were too long, too short, or just right. Our second wrkstation
was seeing if our pumpkin would sink or float. Guess what, it floated!
Yeah! Then we weighed ourselves and estimated how much our pumpkin
weighed. Some of us tried lifting our pumpkin and it was pretty heavy!
We looked inside and saw it was empty! Then the best station of all
was when we grabbed seeds from the inside of the pumpkin and counted how
many we could grab! Boy was it gooey and slimey!
