Our first week!

We had an amazing first week of Kindergarten! We talked a lot about the routines and procedures of Butterfield and the Kindergarten classrooms. We read "David Goes to School" and talked about good and poor choices we can make at school! Not only did we learn about school rules, but we did our very first monthly writing! We practiced writing "I like school!" The Kindergartners amazed us with the skills they have already! We are excited for a fun-filled year.

Miss Ambler & Mrs. Wittenberg welcome all of our little chefs this year! We are so excited for this extra sweet year! This year, Butterfield Elementary has the "recipe for success". That is the new theme for the year 2015-2016. We can not wait to see what we can"cook up" to make this the most exciting year yet!

Field trip - Science Center!

We became Scientists last week as we discovered new activities at the Science Center at Manor Hill! Here are some pictures from our fun trip!

Pancakes Pancakes!

Last week we learned all about Eric Carle! We loved doing an author study on him. One of our favorite stories we read was Pancakes, Pancakes! Maybe it was our favorite because we made pancakes after we read it! Check out the fun below :).
